#5 "Zack"

#5 is yellow with black and brown stripes on his wings.
This is N's favorite chick, and he named him all by himself.
This chick is very well tempered and seems to enjoy N's company. They seem to really connect.  Even though Zach pecked N in the eye once...he still holds him the most.
I told N, "Why do you think pirates have eye patches?...because they try to wear birds on their shoulders!" We all had a good laugh about it (especially N).
Name:
ZACK
Breed:
??? I don't know ???

#4 "Teriyaki" (Rosy)

#4 this is A's favorite chick.
She called it "the Grey one" even though, most of us, would call it the brown one...
But there is most definately grey on this chick.
AND just fyi, the grey coloring is called blue (in bird coloring language)
This is a blue laced red wyandotte.
A is so happy with her (we hope it's a hen).
She was also held in kindergarten and shows a good temperment so far...
She seems comfortble on A's lap and will snuggle and sleep.
Name:
TERIYAKI (ROSY)
Breed:
Blue Laced Red Wyandotte

#3 Rocky

#3 has yellow feet and beak. White striping on wings.
This chick was a litle scared of being handling at first...he feels more comfortable being held with a friend (another chick to accompany him). He is sweet though.
Name:
ROCKY
Breed:
I think it's a Barred Rock because it shows typical characteristics of one (as far as I know-ha!)

#2 "BlackOut"

#2 nicknamed "BlackOut" by the kindergarten class
this chick is mostly black
If it's a Black Star, it's a pullet (girl)
She seems to be well tempered; probably (at least partially) from early holding.
She is another favorite of the kids.
Name (so far):
BLACKOUT
Breed:
Black Star?

#1 Penelope

#1 (I think) this one was born with a comb...
he/she is mostly black with white spots on chest and bottom.
Name ideas:
Penelope
Breed:
 Barred Rock or Black Star
If Black Star she is a pullet (hen)

6/13 pictures again with short descriptions

two lighter yellow
one with tan wings and one with white wings
#8 (is in front, tan wings)
#9 (in the back-is the smallest chick, has white wings)
